Ridgid has introducted a new product, the Tailpiece Extenstion Cutter part number 34943  and model number P-TEC 2550. This item is the first of it's kind in which it provides a hassle free way to execute a clean, fast and straight cut on plastic tube. The cutter can be used on polyethylene, polypropylene, and thein walled PVC disposer kids, tailpieces and wall tubes of the standard sizes of 1 1/4" and 1 1/2".

Some of the unique features of this cutter would be the clean automatic deburring, this cut produces only a fine strand of plastic as opposed to the fuzz around the cut of the hacksaw, you will not have a need for a second tool to deburr, it has automatic beveling which allows for immediate easy joining to other sink drain pieces, it also has a fast cut about 4 times faster than a hacksaw, it also offers a straight cut with easy view windows which ensure a straight cut on the marked pipe every time.
