Toto's EcoPowered Flush Valves come in two models, one for the toilet and one for the urinals. Toto has been working hard on making more green or environmentally friendly products and this flush valve is just one of them.

The green features of the Toto EcoPower flush valve are:

• Hydropowered Generator - the flush valve detects the user with an infrared sensor and automatically flushes, this flushing activates the generator which then charges the valve.
• Automatic - flushes automatically and does not require manual operation.
• Hygienic - Since the flush valve automatically flushes after each use this keeps the toilet hygienic.
• System Protection Timer -  if the toilet has not been used for a 24 hour period the timer commands it to flush maintaining the trap seal.

• Manual Function - for maintenance and emergency use, it does provide a manual flushing button.
• Conserves water by Fuzzy Logic Control (urinals only)

More on the Fuzzy Logic Control - what this means is that the flush valve automatically adjusts the discharge quantity according to the frequency of use and it judges this on the idle time. If the idol time is short the system assumes the urinal has frequent use which in turn discharges less water, if there is a long idle time the valve will discharge a normal quantity of water.

The Fuzzy Logic Control will also discharge quantity according to the flow of urine, it will assume the volume based on how long the urinal has been used if the duration is short it will discharge less water and if it's long it will discharge a normal quantity of flush water.

The Toto EcoPower Flush valve is very easy to take care of it just needs a light cleaning with dish washing detergent and a damp cloth and once a month checking for leaks, you will want to also check the hydro powered generator by pressing the manual flush button to make sure the sensor red light is on for 2 seconds.
